Effective August 29, 2026
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the private Marin OS application accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data.
Data accessed
With explicit Google OAuth consent, Marin OS may read Gmail metadata, message snippets and bounded message content; Google Drive file metadata and supported text content; Calendar events; Google Contacts; and basic Google identity information. Requested Google access is read-only.
How data is used
Google user data is used only to provide owner-facing features such as preparing a briefing, finding a file, reviewing a schedule, locating a contact, or supplying bounded context for an approved workflow. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or training a shared model.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials are encrypted and stored in the private Marin OS backend. Credentials are not sent to the local AI runtime. Operational outputs and bounded audit metadata may be retained in the owner’s private workspace for continuity, verification, and troubleshooting.
Sharing and transfers
Google user data is not sold. It is shared only with service providers required to operate Marin OS and only to provide the owner-requested functionality. Marin OS’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention, deletion, and revocation
The owner may revoke access at any time through Google Account permissions or reconnect an account inside Marin OS. Revoked or replaced credentials are no longer used. The owner may request deletion of retained operational records by contacting the address below.

Privacy or deletion requests may be sent to brandon@mtech.marketing.
